Passive cooling relies on chassis airflow

The open metal structure lets case fans move air across both drive surfaces, so thermals depend entirely on the host system’s airflow design. No fan or active cooling is built in, keeping power draw at zero and adding no acoustic noise. Drives run at their rated temperatures when the chassis provides adequate front-to-rear flow.
