Drive-bay conversion
The BPU-230HD-RED fits two standard 5.25-inch bays and provides three hot-swap trays for 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch drives. It accepts SAS I/II/III and SATA I/II/III devices at up to 12Gb/s. The aluminium chassis and bezel are finished in red and black.
Fixed-bay replacement
This rack replaces static internal cages that require tools and system shutdown for drive changes. The jump is worth it when uptime matters and drives must be swapped while the server stays online. A separate RAID controller is required for hardware RAID arrays.
Sustained-load behaviour
