Seasonic Focus Plus 850 Gold GPU power cable

This adapter converts a single 8-pin PCIe output on a Seasonic Focus Plus 850 Gold power supply into two 8-pin (6+2) connectors for a graphics card. It is designed for builders who need an extra GPU power plug without replacing the PSU. The cable matches the pin-out required by this specific Seasonic unit.

Modular PSU compatibility and daily handling

Because the wiring follows the Seasonic Focus Plus 850 Gold specification, the connectors seat securely in the modular sockets and the GPU side splits cleanly to each 8-pin port. Builders using a different power supply must not use this cable, as the pin arrangement will not match and could damage components.

Questions about this item

Does the 8-pin to dual 8-pin (6+2) cable carry the full 850 W rating of the Seasonic Focus Plus 850 Gold?

The cable is built for the Seasonic Focus Plus 850 Gold and its connectors match the PSU’s PCIe output, so it supports the unit’s full 850 W capacity.

What clearance does the dual 6+2 connector end need inside the case?

Each 6+2 plug occupies a standard PCIe 8-pin socket on the graphics card; allow enough depth for the right-angle or straight header plus the cable bend radius.
