This GIGABYTE S453-S70-AAV1 barebones chassis targets organisations that need maximum drive density in a standard rack footprint. It accepts two 4th or 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and up to 1.5 TB of DDR5 RDIMM across 16 slots. Hot-swap bays front and rear plus dual 10 GbE

Twenty-four 3.5 or 2.5 inch SATA/SAS bays sit behind the front door and twelve more line the rear, all served by a 12 Gb/s SAS expander for simultaneous drive activity. Two additional 2.5 inch rear bays handle boot devices without consuming front capacity. Dual 10 Gb/s ports from an Intel X710-AT2 and dual 1 Gb/s ports from an Intel I210-AT give flexible network segmentation.
