3U 10-node barebone server

The GIGABYTE B343-C40-AAJ3 is a 3U rackmount barebone that houses ten independent compute nodes in a single chassis. Each node accepts a single AMD EPYC 4005 or Ryzen 9000 series processor for single-socket workloads. The system targets density-focused deployments such as virtualisation hosts, HPC clusters or multi-tenant edge platforms. Buyers who need dual-socket nodes or more than ten nodes per 3U will need a different platform.

Gen5 NVMe/SATA and PCIe Gen5 x16 per node

Every node provides two 2.5-inch bays that support Gen5 NVMe or SATA drives, plus one M.2 slot with a PCIe Gen3 x1 link. A single full-height half-length PCIe Gen5 x16 slot is available per node for accelerators or additional networking. The three shared OCP NIC 3.0 slots operate at PCIe Gen4 and serve multiple hosts simultaneously. Builders requiring more than two front drives per node or PCIe Gen5 on the OCP slots cannot use this chassis.

Front-access service and 25GbE networking

All ten nodes and twenty drive bays are accessible from the front, allowing hot-swap maintenance without pulling the chassis from the rack. Each node integrates dual 25GbE ports via the Broadcom BCM57502 controller for high-throughput east-west traffic. Four DDR5 ECC or non-ECC UDIMM slots per node support memory capacity tuned to the chosen CPU. Operators who prefer rear service access or need onboard Baseboard Management Controller ports should verify the specification sheet.
