VESA certified DisplayPort 2.1 cable delivers 40Gbps bandwidth for 16K@30Hz, 8K@60Hz and 4K@240Hz over 6.6ft with 28AWG triple-shielded construction
This VESA certified cable carries up to 40Gbps bandwidth and supports 16K at 30Hz with DSC 1.2a, 10K at 30Hz, 8K at 60Hz and 4K at up to 240Hz. It is backward compatible with DisplayPort 2.0, 1.4, 1.3 and 1.2 devices. The 28AWG pure copper core, triple shielding and graphene layer reduce electromagnetic interference for stable video and audio.
The 40Gbps link enables the listed resolutions only when the source, display and cable all support DisplayPort 2.1 and DSC 1.2a. Without DSC the maximum uncompressed resolution drops below the advertised 16K and 8K modes. HDCP 2.2 is included for protected content, but HDR performance depends on the connected hardware implementing the relevant metadata standards.
Only a cable carrying the VESA 40Gbps certification guarantees the full 16K@30Hz, 8K@60Hz and 4K@240Hz capability described here. Non‑certified or lower‑bandwidth cables will fall back to lower resolutions or refresh rates even if the connectors physically match.
No published specifications for this item yet.
The cable is 6.6 ft long, which suits most desktop-to-monitor distances without excess slack.
It provides up to 40 Gbps bandwidth, enabling 16K at 30 Hz with DSC 1.2a, 10K at 30 Hz, 8K at 60 Hz, and 4K at 240 Hz for high-refresh gaming.
Yes, the DisplayPort 2.1 cable works with DisplayPort 2.0, 1.4, 1.3 and 1.2 devices, so your 1.4 monitor will connect without issues.
