This Dell YF-1206 adapter converts 100-240 V AC at 50-60 Hz into a regulated 12 V DC supply rated for up to 6 A and 72 W. It is intended for devices such as LED strip lighting or CCTV cameras that draw less than 6000 mA at 12 V. The unit comes with a 5.5 mm × 2.5 mm centre-positive barrel plug that also fits 5.5 mm × 2.1 mm sockets.

Plug-and-play with polarity check

Installation is straightforward: connect the IEC mains lead, insert the barrel plug into the device, and switch on.
