Compact fanless server for embedded automation

The ASUS EBS-P300 barebone server integrates an Intel Celeron J6412 processor with 8GB of soldered LPDDR4x-3733 memory. Dual HDMI ports drive two 4K displays at 60 Hz. Two RJ45 ports provide 2.5 Gigabit and 1 Gigabit Ethernet for segregated network traffic. The unit accepts a wide 12-24 V DC input, simplifying power integration in industrial cabinets or IoT gateways.

Sustained load behaviour with passive cooling

Because the chassis is completely fanless, the J6412 runs at its rated base and burst frequencies until the thermal mass of the aluminium enclosure saturates. Under continuous multi-threaded workloads the SoC will throttle to stay within its passive envelope, so throughput stabilises at a lower level than the initial burst. The 8GB memory ceiling is fixed; memory-intensive containers or databases must fit inside that limit or swap to attached storage.

Thermals, noise and power in normal use

Zero moving parts make the system silent, suitable for noise-sensitive locations such as medical carts or digital signage. The external surface becomes warm during prolonged operation, reflecting heat dissipated through the case. Typical draw stays within the 12-24 V DC range, so a compact industrial supply is sufficient. The small 1.75 by 5.39 by 3.19 inch footprint and 1.76 lb weight allow mounting on DIN rails or VESA brackets without structural reinforcement.
