This 2U rackmount barebone supports up to two LGA 3647 Intel Xeon Scalable processors, including second-generation parts. It ships without CPUs or memory, leaving processor selection and memory population entirely to the builder. The Intel C622 chipset provides six memory channels across twenty-four DDR4 2933 slots.

Twelve front 3.5-inch hot-swap bays on a 12 Gbps passive backplane and four rear 2.5-inch bays on a mixed 12 Gbps and PCIe 3.0 backplane give dense storage capacity; SAS drives need an extra RAID or HBA card. Only two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots are available, so configurations needing multiple accelerators or high-speed NICs should consider other platforms.

Twenty-four DDR4 2933 slots in six channels

The board offers twenty-four 288-pin DIMM sockets organised in six channels per processor, defining the maximum memory capacity and bandwidth available. Populating all channels with matched modules is the single specification that determines whether this chassis meets a given memory footprint.
