The ASRock Rack 2U12L2S-ROME/2T is a 2U rackmount barebone built for storage-heavy workloads. Socket SP3 with AMD EPYC 7002 and 7003 support

The single-socket SP3 design accepts AMD EPYC 7002 or 7003 series processors, with 7003 3D V-Cache models requiring a BIOS update. Eight 288-pin DDR4 slots support RDIMM and LRDIMM at 3200, 2933, 2666 and 2400 MHz, giving a direct path to the memory bandwidth the chosen CPU can deliver.

Redundant 800 W power and flexible expansion

A 1+1 redundant 800 W supply operates at 100-127 V or 200-240 V, 50/60 Hz. Expansion includes two full-height full-length PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, one full-height half-length x16 and one half-length x8, plus an OCP 2.0 mezzanine connector. An Aspeed AST2500 provides IPMI and video, while two internal 2.5-inch bays and one M.2 slot handle boot or cache devices.
