This pack contains ten Buna-A gaskets designed for cam-and-groove couplings in fluid-handling systems. Maintenance teams and plant operators use them to seal hose and pipe connections in water, air and light-oil service. The transparent material lets you confirm seating and wear at a glance. Each gasket is manufactured to consistent dimensions for repeatable fit.

Quick Installation and Common Issues

The gaskets drop into the groove of a cam-and-groove fitting without tools, so replacement takes seconds during scheduled downtime. A frequent problem is using the wrong elastomer for the media, which causes swelling or cracking. Another issue is reusing a compressed gasket instead of fitting a fresh one from the pack, leading to leaks at the coupling face.

Sustained Service Behaviour

Buna-A compound maintains its sealing force over long periods in moderate-temperature water and air lines. The material resists permanent set better than softer rubbers, so bolt torque stays stable through thermal cycles. In continuous oil-mist or light-hydrocarbon exposure the gasket retains flexibility without excessive swell. Performance declines if the media temperature exceeds the compound's rated range.
