Ergonomic Seat Cushion for Extended Sitting

The cushion is an ergonomic seat pad shaped by in-house ergonomists to cradle the thighs and hips while encouraging an upright posture. It uses proprietary extra-dense charcoal memory foam that remains odour-free during use. The design redistributes lower-body weight to reduce pressure on the tailbone and lower back. It is intended for office chairs, car seats, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Pressure Relief Limits of Memory Foam

The foam provides soft, velvety support that relieves pressure during long periods of sitting but it does not replace a correctly adjusted ergonomic chair or medical seating system. Compression characteristics will vary with body weight and ambient temperature so the cushion may feel firmer in cold conditions. It cannot correct structural spinal issues or compensate for a seat that is the wrong height or depth. Users who need adjustable firmness or active lumbar mechanisms should look elsewhere.

Build Quality and Everyday Use

The light grey cover is removable for cleaning and the foam core retains its shape after repeated compression. A non-slip bottom keeps the cushion stable on smooth chair surfaces, car seats and wheelchair pans. The compact rectangular profile fits most standard seats without overhanging the front edge. No straps or fasteners are required so moving the cushion between locations takes only seconds.
