HDMI to YPbPr Converter with 5RCA Output

This WRIARICH adapter converts an HDMI source to analogue YPbPr component video plus stereo R/L audio. It supports input formats up to 1080p at 60Hz and outputs selectable resolutions including 480P, 576P, 720P and 1080p. The unit is intended for users connecting modern HDMI devices to older displays or capture equipment that only accept component connections. A 5V DC power supply is included and must be connected before use.

Simple Plug-and-Play Setup with External Power

Installation requires connecting the HDMI source to the converter input, the 5RCA cables to the display YPbPr and audio inputs, then attaching the supplied 5V 1A power adapter. The converter draws power externally, so it will not operate from the HDMI port alone. A common issue is forgetting to power the unit first, which results in no signal; another is confusing the YPbPr component ports with composite RCA inputs on the display.

Verify Display Has YPbPr Component Inputs Before

Check that the target television, monitor or capture card provides a YPbPr component video input — typically three colour-coded RCA jacks labelled Y, Pb and Pr — plus separate red and white audio RCA jacks. Composite video inputs (single yellow RCA) are not compatible. Ensure the source device outputs one of the listed HDMI formats such as 1080p60, 720p60 or 480p60. The package includes the converter, power supply and user manual only; 5RCA cables are not supplied.
