Cable routing for tight CPU power clearance

This Vszerda PW-054-CC adapter set reorients the ATX 12 V EPS connector by ninety degrees so the cable runs horizontally instead of vertically. Two pieces are supplied — one angled up and one angled down — giving builders a choice of exit direction. The parts are finished in black and are intended for new builds or upgrades where the motherboard header sits close to a cooler, side panel or drive cage.

Steady mechanical alignment under continuous

Once seated the adapter locks onto the motherboard header and the PSU cable plugs into its female side without adding any active electronics. The rigid right-angle moulding keeps the cable bend fixed so repeated thermal cycling or case movement cannot straighten the lead and stress the header pins. No circuitry is present, so sustained load simply passes through the copper contacts exactly as the original cable would.

Replaces a straight EPS plug when height is

Use this pair when a tower cooler, radiator or low-profile chassis leaves less than a few centimetres above the CPU power socket. It will not work for PCIe graphics-card power because the pinout differs. Builders who have ample vertical clearance or who need to reroute a GPU cable should keep the stock straight connector instead.
