Each of the four lanes supports up to 6.0 Gbps, providing high-throughput SAS connectivity for multiple drives or backplanes. The single 26-pin host connector aggregates the four channels, so total bandwidth depends on the controller and drive configuration. Performance will run out if the host side cannot sustain the aggregate rate or if drives exceed the per-lane limit. The cable does not add buffering or protocol conversion.

Passive copper construction

The assembly uses passive copper wiring and includes four separate power connectors to supply attached drives. Thermals are determined by the host chassis airflow and drive power draw; the cable itself adds negligible heat. No active electronics or fans are present, so acoustic contribution is zero. Power delivery capacity follows the connector specification and the host supply; the cable does not regulate voltage.
