This 8-inch EPS 8-pin male-to-female cable extends the CPU power connector from a power supply. It is intended for builders whose existing EPS cable cannot reach the motherboard socket in a large chassis or a complex internal layout. The extension carries 12 V DC through 18 AWG tinned copper conductors. It adds reach without replacing the original PSU cable.

The cable uses 18 AWG tinned copper wire to preserve current capacity across the added length. Builds that require more than 8 inches of extra cable or multiple CPU power connectors will need a different solution.
