Check your cable diameter

The cable entry opening measures 10.5 mm, so verify that the wire bundle you intend to use fits through that aperture. Confirm that the device you are connecting follows the same RS232 pin-out, because the board simply breaks out the nine positions in a straight-through arrangement. No driver or software configuration is required, but the terminal block uses a 128-type copper terminal layout that accepts only solid or ferruled conductors.
