What this cable does

The Vszerda 35880 is a bidirectional USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable built for 8K 60 Hz or 4K 240 Hz video. It carries 32.4 Gbps bandwidth and supports DSC 1.2a, HDR, HDCP 2.3, VRR and multi-stream daisy-chaining up to six displays. The aluminium-shelled, nylon-braided 6.6 ft cord works plug-and-play with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3 and standard USB-C ports on laptops, phones, tablets and desktop GPUs such as RTX 3090 or Radeon RX 6900. No driver is required.

Check your ports and power needs

Verify that the source device has a USB-C or Thunderbolt port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and that the monitor accepts a DisplayPort 1.4 input. The cable does not deliver power, so portable monitors or VR headsets will need their own supply. Confirm the host GPU or SoC can drive the desired resolution and refresh rate; older controllers may be limited to 4K 60 Hz. Ensure the DisplayPort connector on the display is a full-size male receptacle, not mini-DP or USB-C.

At the full 32.4 Gbps link rate the aluminium shells and braided jacket help dissipate heat during long gaming or work sessions. DSC 1.2a compression keeps the stream stable at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 240 Hz without visible artefacts. VRR and ALLM remain active during extended variable-refresh gameplay. The passive copper construction has no active electronics to throttle, so performance stays consistent as long as the host and display maintain their rated output.
