A 90-degree 12+4-pin 12VHPWR adapter rated for 600 W, built with 12 oz copper for heat dissipation and adding only 11 mm clearance for RTX 3090 Ti, 4070 Ti, 4080 and 4090 cards
This 12VHPWR 90-degree adapter connects a 12+4 pin GPU power socket on GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, 4070 Ti, 4080 and 4090 graphics cards. It is a Type A orientation, so the installer must verify the port direction against the product image before fitting. The adapter adds only 11 mm of depth from the card edge, helping wide GPUs fit in tighter chassis. It replaces a straight 16-pin plug that would otherwise press against a side panel.
The adapter is rated for up to 600 W and uses a PCB with 12 oz copper to dissipate heat. It complies with ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 specifications for the 12VHPWR connector. The right-angle design reduces mechanical stress on the cable and the GPU input port, which can otherwise lead to overheating at the contact points. The power supply cable used must also be rated for 600 W to match the adapter capacity.
This adapter upgrades a build that already has an ATX 3.0 or PCIe 5.0 power supply with a native 12VHPWR output but needs a right-angle exit for clearance. It does not convert older 8-pin or 6-pin cables to the new connector. Builders who need a straight 12VHPWR plug, a different orientation type, or an adapter for non-RTX cards cannot use this Type A model.

Align the Type A 16-pin connector with the GPU's native 12+4 port, press firmly until the latch clicks, then route the 90-degree bend toward the side panel; the step most often missed is verifying the adapter sits flush with only 11 mm protrusion before closing the case.
Inspect the 16-pin contacts and 12 oz copper PCB for discoloration or melting every few months; replace the adapter immediately if any pin shows heat damage, as the 600 W rating depends on clean, tight connections.
The 12 oz copper PCB's heat dissipation capacity is the first limit; prolonged 600 W throughput can raise connector temperature until thermal throttling or safety shutdown occurs if case airflow is insufficient.
