Build integration and constraints

The spool box feeds cable cleanly during pulls through walls or conduit, and the unshielded four-pair construction keeps the bundle flexible for tight routes. Because the conductors are CCA rather than solid copper, the cable is not certified to UL, NEC, ETL or TIA standards and must not be used for Power over Ethernet devices.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive copper-clad aluminium cable it generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no power during normal data transmission. The CCA construction does introduce higher resistance than solid copper, so voltage drop over long runs will be greater and PoE equipment should be excluded from this link.
