Maintenance Bypass POD for GXT5 8-10kVA 208V UPS

The Vertiv PD5-202 is a power output distribution unit with an integrated maintenance bypass switch. It is designed specifically for Vertiv Liebert GXT5 8-10kVA high voltage UPS models operating at 208V. This accessory allows connected equipment to remain powered while the UPS undergoes maintenance, repair or complete replacement. It mounts directly to the UPS rear panel to save rack space and reduce installation labour.

Hardwired input with IEC C13 and C19 output

The unit accepts a hardwired AC input connection and provides six IEC C13 outlets and two IEC C19 outlets for load connections. This fixed wiring requirement means the POD must be installed by qualified electrical personnel during initial setup or planned downtime. The mixed outlet configuration supports both standard server power cords and higher-amperage equipment cables without additional adapters. Output capacity is defined by the host UPS rating rather than the POD itself.

Replaces the factory POD to add zero-downtime

This module replaces the standard power output distribution unit supplied with the GXT5 8-10kVA HV UPS. The upgrade is justified when business continuity demands that UPS maintenance or battery replacement occur without shedding critical loads. It is not suitable for UPS models outside the specified GXT5 high voltage range or for installations that cannot accommodate hardwired input connections.
