Small Form Factor Server Interface Module

The Vertiv Avocent SFIQ-VGA is a small form factor server interface module that provides VGA video, USB keyboard and mouse connectivity for rack-mounted servers. It connects to Avocent MergePoint Unity MPU and AutoView AV3000 series KVM switches using standard CAT5 cable. Virtual media, Common Access Card authentication and USB 2.0 support are included. One cable is required for each server connected to the KVM switch.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

Verify that your KVM switch is an Avocent MergePoint Unity MPU or AutoView AV3000 series unit before purchasing. Confirm the target server has an available VGA video port and USB ports for keyboard and mouse connection. Ensure a standard CAT5 cable run is available between the switch location and the server rack position. This module does not support servers lacking VGA or USB interfaces.

The compact module is designed for clean cable management inside server racks, reducing clutter at the rack-to-server connection point. Its VGA and USB 2.0 connectors allow straightforward attachment to typical server rear panels. The CAT5 uplink to the KVM switch simplifies routing through cable trays.
