Ceiling-mounted 360-degree microphone

The Vaddio EasyIP CeilingMIC D is a wired overhead microphone designed for conference rooms and meeting spaces. Its ceiling-mounted design removes table clutter and suits both drop-tile and open-ceiling installations. Integrated echo cancellation and DSP with equalisation, filtering and automatic gain control process audio at the device. Three unidirectional cardioid elements combine to give full 360-degree pickup coverage.

Network-audio integration

Each unit connects via a single network cable and is managed through Dante Controller software for routing and configuration. The number of microphones in a system is limited only by available network switch ports. No separate DSP hardware is required because processing is built into the microphone enclosure. This approach frees up rack space and reduces cabling compared with traditional table-microphone installations.

Passive thermal profile

The microphone draws power over the network connection and operates without fans or active cooling. With no moving parts it adds no audible noise to the room during meetings. Power consumption is low enough for standard PoE switch ports. The acoustical fabric wrap does not affect thermal performance.
