The V7 RMWC6U-1N is a 6U two-post open frame rack designed to mount directly on a wall. It suits classrooms, retail sites, network closets and other spaces where floor-standing cabinets are impractical. The unit arrives fully assembled for immediate deployment. Locking vented doors and removable side panels provide secure yet accessible equipment storage.

Wall-Mount Open Frame Limits

A two-post design supports only equipment with centre-mounted rails or shallow depth; deep servers requiring four-post support cannot be installed. Wall mounting demands a structure capable of carrying the combined rack and hardware weight. Vented doors rely on passive airflow, so high-density or high-heat loads may exceed the enclosure’s cooling capacity.

6U Capacity and Headroom

Six rack units accommodate a typical patch panel, a small switch and a modest UPS or similar shallow gear. Adjustable numbered rails with square holes allow flexible positioning within the 6U space. Removable top and bottom cable panels keep cabling organised. Once the 6U limit is reached, no further equipment can be added without a larger enclosure.
