The Unstincer UN-E003-US extracts audio from a TV eARC or ARC port and sends it to a soundbar or receiver through an integrated optical SPDIF cable. It suits users whose display lacks analogue outputs but whose audio system only accepts optical input. The adapter handles the conversion without external power beyond the included USB connection.

Plug-and-play installation with fixed cable length

Connect the HDMI plug to the TV eARC or ARC port, the optical plug to the sound system SPDIF input, and the USB lead to a charger or TV USB socket for power. No drivers or configuration software are required. The built-in cables measure 41 inches, so the TV and audio device must be close enough for this reach; the length cannot be extended.

Check TV port and audio format before ordering

Your television must provide an eARC or ARC-labelled HDMI port and support PCM, Dolby 5.1 or DTS 5.1 output set to PCM in the sound menu. The sound system needs an optical SPDIF input and, for Dolby 5.1 or DTS 5.1, matching decoder capability. The adapter does not work with TVs lacking ARC functionality or with speakers that only have analogue or HDMI inputs.
