The Tripp Lite SRWF2U36 is a 2U wall-mount rack enclosure built to hold 19-inch rack equipment up to 36 inches deep. It targets installers who need to secure servers, UPS units, switches or battery packs in wiring closets, classrooms or back offices where floor space is unavailable. Heavy-duty steel construction with a black powder-coated finish supports a 150-pound load capacity.

Replaces floor-standing racks in tight rooms

This cabinet replaces a traditional floor rack when the room cannot spare the footprint but the gear still demands full server depth. The vertical orientation projects less than five inches from the wall while delivering 2U of primary mounting space plus a slide-out 1U bracket for patch panels up to 2.5 inches deep. The jump is worth it when depth and security matter more than high-density stacking.

Limited to two rack units and 150 pounds

The 2U primary zone plus one extra 1U patch-panel bracket caps the usable height at three rack units, so builders needing four or more units must look elsewhere.
