DC power adapter for radio equipment

The Tripp Lite PR60 converts 120 V AC at 60 Hz into a regulated DC supply rated for 60 A intermittent and 48 A continuous duty. It is built for operators running 250 to 300 W transmitters, VHF and UHF ham radios, commercial land‑mobile sets or microwave links. At the 48 A continuous rating the supply maintains output without thermal shutdown, thanks to its 33 lb steel chassis and chassis‑mount fuse design. The 6.75 × 10.5 × 11.5 in enclosure dissipates heat during extended transmit sessions, so voltage remains stable for ham, commercial and microwave applications. Intermittent peaks to 60 A are handled for short bursts without tripping the protection.
