Tight-space Cat6 patch cable

This five-foot Cat6 patch cable fits gigabit LAN links where a straight plug would hit a wall or a crowded panel. The left-angle RJ45 on one end bends the cable ninety degrees at the jack, so the run stays flat against the surface. Slim profile and angled plug

At over thirty-eight percent slimmer than a standard Cat6 cable, the moulded UTP construction leaves more room for airflow in full racks. The reduced diameter also makes it easier to route around corners and through tight cable-management fingers without snagging. Both connectors are male RJ45, so the cable plugs directly into switch ports, patch panels or wall plates.

Unshielded Cat6 distance limit

Because the cable is unshielded twisted pair, it relies on the Cat6 standard for noise rejection rather than a foil or braid screen. Gigabit Ethernet is supported up to the standard channel length, but runs that approach the maximum distance may see more errors in electrically noisy environments. Builders who need shielded cable or longer certified runs should select a different product.
