Rack kit for Meraki MX68 appliances

The TRX-1U-M2A is a 1U rack-mount kit built for Cisco Meraki MX68, MX68W and MX68CW desktop security appliances. It converts the desktop form factor into a standard 19-inch rack unit for network closets and server rooms. The enclosure uses 16-gauge steel with an industrial powder-coated finish for durability. It ships with an optional fibre-optic cable assembly for status-indicator visibility.

Single fixed 1U height fits standard 19-inch racks

The kit occupies exactly one rack unit and mounts to any standard 19-inch four-post or two-post rack. No adjustable depth rails or multi-height options are included, so the appliance depth must match the fixed mounting pattern. Installers choose between rear-facing orientation for port visibility or forward-facing orientation for a cleaner front appearance. The MX68W and MX68CW models support rear-facing mounting only.

Steel construction handles continuous rack-mount

The 16-gauge steel frame and powder-coated finish resist bending and corrosion under the constant weight of the secured appliance and cabling. Vibration from rack-mounted fans and neighbouring equipment is absorbed without loosening the mounting points. The fixed geometry maintains alignment during long-term operation in heated network closets. No moving parts or sliding rails are present to wear over time.
