TeKit
Adds a USB-C female port to a USB-A device with 30 cm cable and up to 5 Gbps data transfer
This 30 cm cable adds a USB 3.1 Type C female port to a standard USB 3.0 Type A socket on a laptop or PC. It supports data transfer up to 5 Gbps and charging for USB-C peripherals, hubs or cables. The reversible Type C connector inserts either way up. The adapter is supplied new in black.
It does not carry video signals, so it cannot drive HDMI, VGA or other display connections. It is not compatible with MagSafe wireless chargers or Apple Mac laptop chargers. Buyers who need video output or Power Delivery negotiation for a MacBook should look elsewhere.
The link runs at USB 3.0 speeds of up to 5 Gbps, falling back to 480 Mbps when connected to USB 2.0 ports. Actual throughput varies with the host device, cable quality and file type. The 30 cm length provides a short reach for desktop or mobile use.
