Coupling Insert for Size 10 Drives

The TB Woods 10E Sure-Flex sleeve coupling insert fits coupling size 10 and is moulded from EPDM rubber. It transmits up to 3,735 in-lb of torque at speeds up to 3,600 RPM. The one-piece solid construction handles 1 degree of angular misalignment and 0.025 in of parallel offset. Rated at 5.9 hp at 100 RPM, it suits blowers, compressors, conveyors, mixers, motors and pumps.

EPDM Rubber Handles Heat and Misalignment

EPDM material withstands a maximum operating temperature of 275 degrees F. The 7 1/16 in outside diameter and 3 7/16 in insert width match standard size 10 hubs. Torsional stiffness of 10,980 in-lb/rad provides predictable torque transmission. The solid one-piece design simplifies installation and eliminates loose elements that could shift during operation.

Replaces Worn Inserts in Existing Couplings

This insert directly replaces a damaged or aged sleeve in a size 10 Sure-Flex coupling without changing hubs. The upgrade is worthwhile when vibration increases, misalignment exceeds the original insert’s capacity, or the rubber has hardened past the 275 degree F limit.
