IP67 ABS enclosure for outdoor power connections

The TAURKENAM enclosure uses ABS plastic rated IP67, protecting installed equipment from dust and temporary immersion up to one metre. A hinged cover secured by 304 stainless-steel latches allows quick access while maintaining the seal. Internal grid mounting plates accept boards or devices directly, and supplied 3/8 NPT and 1/2 NPT cable glands provide watertight wire entry. Four stainless-steel wall brackets enable secure mounting on walls or fences.

Sustained exposure to moisture and impact

Continuous submersion resistance is verified at the IP67 level, so the box remains sealed during prolonged rain, splashing or brief immersion. ABS construction absorbs knocks without cracking, and the stainless hardware resists corrosion in high-humidity environments. Cable glands maintain their grip on conductors over temperature cycles, preventing ingress paths from developing. The hinged lid stays aligned after repeated opening, preserving the gasket contact surface.

Replaces basic junction boxes lacking sealing

Builders upgrading from unsealed plastic boxes gain full waterproofing and integrated mounting brackets in one package. The jump is worth it when the installation sits outdoors, in damp basements or near irrigation systems where moisture ingress would damage terminals. Projects that only need indoor dry-location splicing will not benefit from the added sealing and hardware cost.
