Flexible Drill Bit Extension

This 11.5 inch flexible shaft connects to a drill, rechargeable drill, electric screwdriver or manual wrench to extend reach into tight spaces for twisting screws, nuts and drill bits. It includes both a flexible drill bit extension and a right angle drill adapter that can be separated for independent use. A 1/4 hex shank quick-connect fits all standard drills and wrenches, while a locking magnetic head prevents the sleeve from falling off during operation.

Build Integration

The adapter adds reach without requiring a longer tool body, freeing up space around obstructions such as engine components or cabinet interiors. Its quick-connect hex shank slots directly into existing chucks so no extra chuck or collet is needed. The split design lets you use the flexible shaft alone for curved paths or the right angle adapter alone for perpendicular access, reducing the number of specialised bits a technician must carry.

Sustained Use Behaviour

Under continuous torque the flexible shaft transmits rotation through its coiled core while bending around obstacles, maintaining drive to the fastener without binding. The magnetic lock holds the bit securely during repeated impact cycles from an impact driver, preventing bit walk-out. Because the assembly has no motor or electronics, its performance does not degrade with heat buildup during extended fastening tasks.
