20 AWG Current-Carrying Limits

At 20 AWG the cable is intended for low-current circuits such as LED strips, sensor leads and small motor feeds; it cannot supply high-power loads without voltage drop or overheating. The 600 V rating covers insulation breakdown, not safe ampacity, so designers must calculate conductor heating for their specific length and ambient temperature. No connectors, heat-shrink or termination hardware are included in the package. Builders needing heavier gauge should select 18 AWG or larger from the available range.
