12 Gauge Automotive Wire Pack

This pack supplies two 100 ft rolls of 12 gauge primary wire in red and black for low-voltage automotive and hobby circuits. The colour coding keeps positive and negative runs visually separate during installation. It suits installers wiring remote turn-ons, car audio, robotics or model-train layouts.

Copper Clad Aluminum Conductor

Each roll uses a single stranded conductor made from copper clad aluminum with 68 strands of .2 mm diameter. The PVC insulation resists fire, abrasion, sunlight and chemical or electrolytic corrosion up to 105°C. This construction is not rated for 110 or 220 V AC household wiring.

Sustained Heat Performance

The 105°C temperature rating means the insulation remains stable during long runs at elevated engine-bay or enclosure temperatures. Stranded copper clad aluminum maintains flexibility after repeated heat cycles without the conductor fatigue seen in solid-core alternatives. Continuous current capacity follows the conductor cross-section rather than short-term surge limits.

Not For Mains Voltage Installations

Builders needing wire for 110 or 220 V AC household circuits cannot use this product; the insulation and conductor are certified only for low-voltage automotive and extra-low-voltage hobby applications. Users requiring pure copper conductors for maximum conductivity in critical signal paths should select a different wire type.
