1000 ft plenum Cat6 roll

This 1000-foot bulk roll of Cat6 plenum cable is built for horizontal runs inside air ducts, conduits, drop ceilings and walls. It carries a CMP fire rating for use in plenum spaces and uses solid 23 AWG copper conductors. The jacket is black and the cable is supplied on a pull-box for easier handling during long pulls.

CMP rating and solid copper change the install

The plenum rating means the jacket meets low-smoke, low-flame requirements for air-handling spaces, so it can be routed through return-air ceilings without separate conduit. Solid 23 AWG copper conductors keep attenuation low over the full 1000-foot length and support 550 MHz bandwidth for 1 Gbps Ethernet. ETL verification confirms the cable meets the Cat6 standard and remains backward compatible with Category 5e systems.

Pull-box helps but solid wire needs care

The reel-in-a-box design pays out cleanly and reduces kinks during long horizontal runs. Solid conductors are less flexible than stranded patch cable, so bend radius must be respected and the cable should not be used for patch leads or repeated flexing. Terminate with Cat6-rated RJ45 plugs or keystone jacks rated for solid wire to avoid intermittent connections.
