Food-Grade Lubricant for Processing Equipment

This NLGI 2 grease uses a synthetic base and carries NSF H-1 registration for incidental food contact. The translucent white cartridge holds 14 oz and fits standard grease guns. It targets conveyor bearings, ball bearings, journal bearings, roller bearings, universal joints and sliding or rolling friction points in food and beverage plants.

Temperature and Load Boundaries

The lubricant operates from 10 to 400 degrees F with a flash point of 400 degrees F. Viscosity measures 156 at 40 C and 14.6 at 100 C, while the Timken OK load reaches 30 lb. These figures define the practical envelope for high-heat or heavily loaded bearings; applications outside this range will need a different grade.

Replaces Non-Food-Grade or Lower-Grade Greases

Switching from an industrial grease without NSF H-1 approval removes the contamination risk when lubrication points sit above product lines. The jump is worth it when audits require documented food-grade compliance or when the wider temperature span covers both cold-room and oven-adjacent bearings in a single product.
