The Sony SRGA12 is an 8.5 megapixel PTZ network camera built for professional video production and live streaming. It combines a 1/2.5" Exmor R CMOS sensor with integrated AI analytics to automate framing and tracking without a dedicated operator. The camera outputs UHD 4K at 29.97 fps and 1080p at 59.94 fps over 3G-SDI, HDMI and Ethernet with NDI|HX support. Its black housing includes a tally lamp for clear on-air status indication.

Zoom and Framing Capability

The optical system provides 12x optical zoom extended by 24x Clear Image Zoom for detailed close-ups without resolution loss. A wide 70° angle of view captures broad scenes while high-speed pan and tilt mechanisms reposition the frame rapidly. AI-driven analytics detect and track presenters automatically across Full Body, Waist and Close-Up modes, each offering center, left and right angle selections. Up to 256 presets store recurring camera positions for instant recall during productions.

The camera supports simultaneous multi-subject tracking within a single frame, adjusting pan, tilt and zoom smoothly as presenters move. Autofocus, auto exposure and white balance systems respond dynamically to changing lighting conditions throughout long events. IP streaming via NDI|HX maintains stable network output alongside the baseband 3G-SDI and HDMI feeds for reliable multi-platform delivery.
