The Sony SNC-DS10 is a network minidome camera that captures video at 768 x 576 resolution and 30fps. It uses a 1/4-type progressive scan CCD sensor with ExwavePRO technology and a vari-focal lens offering 3.6x optical zoom. Power over Ethernet is supported alongside AC 24 V and DC 12 V inputs with 7.5 W maximum consumption. Dual JPEG and MPEG-4 streams can be delivered simultaneously for recording and live viewing.

This unit fits projects that require a compact dome form factor with wall or ceiling mounting and easy angle adjustment. Buyers who need megapixel or higher resolution should look elsewhere. Systems requiring wireless connectivity or onboard storage slots are not served by this model. The camera targets standard-definition IP surveillance over wired Ethernet infrastructure.
