Transmission limits and constraints

Analog VGA video is the only signal carried; audio is not supported and the adapters cannot convert video into network data or provide internet connectivity. Signal quality depends on the ethernet cable grade, the run length and local electromagnetic interference, and excessively long runs may introduce ghosting or colour deviation. The adapters are strictly point‑to‑point, so they do not work through network switches or routers.

Installation notes and common issues

Connect the VGA output of your source to the first adapter, run a CAT5e or CAT6 cable between the two RJ45 ports, then plug the second adapter into the display VGA input. Problems usually arise when cable runs exceed practical analog limits, when cables are poorly terminated or when users expect audio or network passthrough.
