Upgrade path from spare compact SSDs

The card replaces the need for separate enclosures or multiple adapter boards when you have mixed M.2 and mSATA drives. It is worth adding when you want to connect existing compact SSDs to a motherboard or RAID controller that only offers SATA III ports. It does not serve builders who need PCIe NVMe speeds or a bootable NVMe connection.

Check SATA ports and drive keys before ordering

Verify your motherboard or controller has free SATA 3.0 connectors and matching power cables. Confirm each SSD uses the MKey NVMe, BKey AHCI SATA or mSATA form factor listed. The card cannot convert PCIe-only NVMe drives to bootable SATA devices or provide NVMe protocol speeds.
