Thermal performance scales with the chosen configuration and installed components. The smaller 2.8-liter layout restricts airflow, limiting cooler height and fan choices to a 120 or 140 mm unit. Expanding to 3.7 liters provides additional clearance for larger CPU coolers and improved air circulation. Noise levels and power draw depend entirely on the selected motherboard, processor, and cooling hardware installed by the builder.

Upgrade Path and Value

This chassis replaces larger Mini-Tower or HTPC enclosures when desk space or rack density is the primary constraint. The modular drive bracket supports a 9.5 mm slim optical drive, a 3.5 inch HDD, or a 2.5 inch SSD, allowing storage upgrades without changing cases.
