This 20 ft Cat 6 patch cable carries 550 MHz bandwidth and supports 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps Ethernet. The UTP construction uses four 24 AWG twisted pairs inside a red PVC jacket. It is wired to the TIA/EIA 568B.2 standard for straight-through connections.

UTP Design and PVC Jacket

The unshielded twisted-pair layout reduces crosstalk without adding bulk, while the PVC jacket resists abrasion during routing. The red colour makes the cable easy to identify in dense patch panels or under desks. No shielding or crossover wiring is included, so the cable works with standard gigabit ports.

550 MHz Category 6 Rating

The 550 MHz Cat 6 rating determines whether the link can sustain gigabit speeds over the full 20 ft run. Installations that need certified 10 Gbps performance or shielded cable for high-interference environments will require a higher-category or shielded product instead.
