The STI-13210FR is a surface-mounted cover that shields fire pull stations, emergency buttons, keypads, intercom stations and electrical switches from accidental activation. It suits schools, hospitals, factories and commercial buildings where false alarms disrupt operations and waste emergency resources. The open-back design fits over existing devices without rewiring. Mounting hardware is included for a quick installation.

IP56 Rating and Temperature Limits

The polycarbonate housing meets IP56, so it resists dust ingress and powerful water jets during wash-downs or outdoor exposure. It operates continuously from -40 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, covering unheated warehouses, loading bays and boiler rooms. The guard is UL and cUL listed and complies with ADA reach-range requirements. It is not intended for submersion, high-pressure steam cleaning or environments that exceed the stated temperature band.

Coverage for Standard Devices

The 5 1/2-inch width, 4-inch depth and 8 1/8-inch height accommodate most single-gang pull stations, duplex plugs, light switches and small keypads. The clear red shell keeps the protected device visible while the hinged cover adds a deliberate two-step action that discourages pranks.
