Micro USB 2.0 OTG host cable

This cable adds USB host capability to compatible Samsung Galaxy models so a flash drive or other peripheral can be connected directly. It includes a Micro USB power input that supplies extra current when the attached device needs more than the phone port can provide. The connector fits the Galaxy S3 i9300, S4 i9500, Note2 N7100 and Note3 N9000.

Sustained transfer with external power

When a flash disk draws steady current during long copies the auxiliary Micro USB power connection keeps the link stable instead of dropping out. The USB 2.0 interface limits the maximum throughput but the extra feed prevents voltage sag that would otherwise interrupt the session. Builders who need USB 3.0 speeds or a Type-C plug will need a different adapter.
