Ruth's sister E27 360° PIR Motion Sensor Socket AC110-220V

SKU CH-EE8R-V8K7Z

E27 motion-sensor lamp holder detects movement across 360 degrees and switches lights automatically on AC110-220V supply

  • Automatic lighting with 360° PIR motion detection
  • Wide voltage compatibility from AC110-220V
  • Standard E27 base fits common bulbs
  • Infrared sensor switches lights on movement

E27 PIR Motion Sensor Socket

The Ruth's sister E27 socket integrates a passive infrared sensor that detects movement across a full 360 degree field. It fits standard E27 lamp holders and operates on AC supplies from 110 V to 220 V. The unit switches the connected bulb on automatically when motion is sensed and turns it off after a period of inactivity.

Upgrades manual or timer lighting

This sensor replaces a plain lamp holder or a fixed timer switch, adding hands-free activation for corridors, stairwells, utility rooms or outdoor porches. The upgrade is worthwhile where lights are frequently left on by mistake or where switching by hand is inconvenient. It is not suited for fixtures that require dimming control or for installations that need a narrower detection angle.

Questions about this item

What base size does the E27 motion sensor socket accept?

The socket accepts standard E27 bulbs, which have a 27 mm screw base diameter.

How is the sensor wired into the circuit and what common error should be avoided?

Wire the sensor in series with the live conductor so it switches power to the lamp; a common error is connecting it across live and neutral, which prevents the PIR from operating.
