E26 E27 Socket with Remote Control

The lamp holder replaces a standard E26 or E27 base and adds a detachable infrared remote for on-off and timing control. It accepts LED or CFL lamps up to 80 W and incandescent lamps up to 200 W across a 85 V to 265 V AC supply. No in-wall wiring is required and the controller operates through walls and doors.

Sustained Operation and Timing Limits

The unit supports continuous lighting loads within the stated wattage ratings without active cooling. Two preset timers — 30 minutes and 60 minutes — automatically switch the lamp off to limit unattended run time. The remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included, so ongoing operation depends on battery condition.

Infrared Range and Socket Constraints

Infrared signalling works through typical interior walls and doors, but line-of-sight obstacles or strong ambient light can reduce reliable range. The holder measures approximately 92 mm by 66 mm, so it fits fixtures that accommodate that footprint. It is not suited for lamps exceeding the 80 W LED or 200 W incandescent limits.
