Splits one C14 inlet into C7 and 1-15R outlets, 32 cm long, rated 10 A at 250 V
This Y-splitter cable converts a single IEC 320 C14 male plug into one C7 and one US 1-15R female socket. It lets you power two devices such as PCs monitors scanners or printers from one outlet. The cable is rated for 10 A at 250 V and measures 32 cm in length.
The cable uses H05VV-F 3x1.5mm2 conductors and adds no active components so it generates no heat or noise of its own. It simply passes through the supply voltage which the note says is generally used for 125 to 250 V. The C7 branch is rated at 2.5 A while the C14 and 1-15R branches each handle 10 A.
The package includes one splitter cable with no extra software or drivers required. It works immediately with standard power cords and dual-supply servers or remote PDUs. The only limitation noted is that the cable does not transform voltage so both connected devices must accept the same line voltage.
No published specifications for this item yet.
Plug the C14 male end into your PSU or PDU outlet, then connect the C7 and 1-15R female ends to your devices; the step often missed is verifying that the combined load stays within the 10 A C14 rating.
No scheduled maintenance is required; inspect the cable jacket and connectors periodically for heat damage or loose pins, and replace the whole assembly if insulation cracks or contacts become intermittent.
The C7 female head is rated at 2.5 A, so it reaches its current ceiling well before the 10 A C14 inlet or 1-15R socket, making it the first bottleneck under sustained use.
