Practical limits of the balance-lead interface

The tester draws its operating power from the pack under test, so very low-voltage packs may not activate the display. Discharge current is limited by the thin balance wires and internal resistors, making full pack discharge slow. Balancing current is similarly small, so large capacity differences take considerable time to equalise. The device cannot charge batteries or measure internal resistance.
