Replacement cable for HyperX headsets

This 1.55 metre audio extension cord replaces the detachable cable supplied with HyperX Cloud, Cloud Alpha, Cloud Flight, Cloud Flight Wireless, Cloud Revolver S and Cloud Core headsets. It uses a 3.5 mm male-to-male connection with a woven jacket and gold-plated pure-copper plugs. The cable includes an in-line volume control and a microphone mute switch. No headphones are included in the package.

Sustained-use durability

The conductor consists of 30 strands of 0.05 mm LC-OFC oxygen-free copper, a construction chosen to resist fatigue from repeated bending during long gaming sessions. Gold plating on the 3.5 mm plugs reduces contact oxidation that can cause static or intermittent audio after months of daily insertion cycles. The woven outer sleeve adds abrasion resistance against desk edges and chair casters.

Analogue 3.5 mm interface limits

The 3.5 mm auxiliary connection carries unbalanced analogue stereo and microphone signals, so cable length and shielding quality directly affect noise floor and crosstalk. At 1.55 metres the extension remains within typical consumer limits for passive analogue runs without noticeable signal loss. No digital processing, active noise cancellation or proprietary protocols are present; audio quality depends entirely on the host device’s codec and the headset’s drivers.
